Some friends and I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night. If you haven't seen it I would recommend it but you may want to take tissues along. If you have seen the previews you know that it is about a man who lives his life backwards; very interesting. To some it may seem like a good idea, you don't get older but instead get younger. But when you see all the stuggles that he goes through trying to live this way it may change your mind. This movie is a great example of being happy for what you have, while you have it and for seizing the day. We as Christians are taught not to grow attached to the things of this world because our true treasures lie in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-21). So while the things, and people, of this world may leave us, we know that God will never leave us (another theme that can be seen in Benjamin Button). So live for the moment, do the best you can with what you have and always be greatful when you are given a second chance. "Your life is defined by its opportunities...even the ones you miss" (Benjamin Button).
